Here at Victoria West Community Association, we pride ourselves on our dedication to the community. With so many different activities going on at our centre daily, we have volunteer opportunities for all backgrounds and schedules.

Boards & Committees
Interested in having a say in what’s going on in Victoria West? Consider joining our board or committees. Some of these include Communications, Food Security, Finance, Governance, Projects and Events, and Land Use.
Children and Youth Programs
Have a passion for working with children and youth? Consider volunteering at Community Centre drop-in activities. Criminal record check and previous experience volunteering with youth required.
Community Gardens
Interested in doing some gardening and learning more about food security? We’re looking for volunteers to help in our Community Gardens!
Banfield Park is home to three awesome gardens. We need help from the community to keep them that way! The VWCA is following social distancing guidelines and we have lots of learning opportunities. Tasks may include, weeding, watering, harvesting, pruning, mulching, etc. If you would like to share your growing knowledge or learn more about growing your own food, consider joining!
