Short Story Basics, Mon Oct 19, 6-8pm

What makes a story compelling? In this single session, we’ll discuss the basics of fiction and get started on our own short stories. If you’re new to writing or want to get back into it, this is a great starting point for you.
Open to all levels of writing experience. Suitable for ages 16+.

PLEASE NOTE: this is a generative session, NOT a workshop. Students will not share any pieces of writing or feedback. The goal is to inspire you through brainstorming, discussion, and solo writing prompts.

All you need to bring is a way to write – either a pen/pencil and paper OR a device (laptop/tablet, not smartphone).

Note:

Minimum 7 business days required to cancel registration for refund.
