Just in time for spooky season, enter a bizarre and chilling world not unlike our own. In this single session, we’ll discuss the basics of horror fiction and build our own scary stories. Whether you love the genre or just want to try it out, you’ll be writing up a storm!
Open to all levels of writing experience. Suitable for ages 16+.
PLEASE NOTE: this is a generative session, NOT a workshop. Students will not share any pieces of writing or feedback. The goal is to inspire you through brainstorming, discussion, and solo writing prompts.
To prepare for the storytelling journey, join the Short Story Basics session on October 19!
All you need to bring is a way to write – either a pen/pencil and paper OR a device (laptop/tablet, not smartphone).
